Hallonbergen is an underground station on the Stockholm Metro . It is located in the Hallonbergen district in the Sundbyberg municipality . The station is served by the Blå linjen of the Stockholm metro system . It is one of the less frequented stations on the underground network. 4,000 commuters get on here on a normal working day.
The station went into operation on August 31, 1975 when the first section of the Blå linjen between T-Centralen - Hjulsta was opened. The platforms are about 28 meters underground. Shortly after the station in the direction of Kista, a second tunnel leads west to the Rissne station . The Blå linjen ran from 1977 to 1985 via Hallonbergen to Hjulsta. Since 1985 this branch has been served by the T11 line, which separates from the current line after the Västra Skogen station. The station is located between the Näckrosen and Kista stations . It is about eight kilometers to Stockholm Central Station . Between the station and the next station, Kista, there is the “ghost station” Kymlinge , which the trains only pass by.
