The NHO works in the areas of employer and economic policy , conducts information and lobbying and works as a service provider for its member companies. In this activity the NHO is involved in many collective bargaining . This has resulted in several agreements with the Norwegian trade unions, such as the main agreement with the trade union umbrella organization Landsorganisasjonen i Norge (LO).
