The Northern Shukpa Kunchang Glacier is located in the eastern Karakoram in the Indian Union Territory of Ladakh .
The 31 km long glacier is located in the Saser Muztagh . The Northern Shukpa-Kunchang Glacier flows from the eastern flank of the 7,672 m high Saser Kangri in an easterly direction through the Saser Muztagh massif. The Southern Shukpa-Kunchang Glacier runs further south. The valleys of both glaciers join 11 km below the glacier tongue of the Northern Shukpa-Kunchang Glacier. After a further 10 km the meltwater reaches the right bank of the Shyok overflow.
