The N1 is a trunk road in Ghana that begins in Elubo on the border with Ivory Coast and ends in Denu on the border with Togo . It is 545 kilometers long.

The N1 forms the Ghanaian section of the Dakar-Lagos Highway . It is the extension of the A100 in Ivory Coast and the N2 in Togo .

The road runs through the Western Region , Central Region , Greater Accra Region, and Volta Region .

The trunk road connects the cities of Elubo , Sekondi-Takoradi , Cape Coast , Yamoransa , Winneba , Kasoa , Accra , Tema , Dawhenya , Aveyime-Battor , Kase , Dabala , Akatsi , Denu , Sogakope and Aflao .
