NGC 2423-3 b
NGC 2423-3 b is an exoplanet that orbits the red giant NGC 2423-3 every 714 days . Due to its high mass , it is assumed that it is a gas planet .
discovery
The planet was determined using the radial velocity method by Michel Mayor et al. discovered in 2007.
Circulation and mass
The planet orbits its star at a distance of approx. 2.1 astronomical units and has a mass of approx. 3370 earth masses or 10.6 Jupiter masses.
