The rail tractors of the series NSB Skd 212 were from 1943 by the German Wehrmacht during the construction of the Nordland Line on the stretch between Mosjøen and Dunderland in Norway used.

They are also said to have been used on a connecting railway from the port of Rognan to a place in Brenningskogen .

history

The two small locomotives were built in 1941 by Maschinenbau und Bahnbedarf AG (MBA) in Germany with the serial numbers 21372 and 21373 and delivered to the Kiel Navy shipyard . From there they were taken to Norway in 1943 to build the line.

After the end of the Second World War , Norges Statsbaner ( German  Norwegian State Railways ) took over the two machines. The locomotives were used for the further construction of the line and for shunting on connecting lines and in the stations.

The decommissioning and scrapping took place in 1964.
