The NYSEG Stadium (formerly Binghamton Municipal Stadium ) is a baseball stadium in the northern part of the US city of Binghamton in the state of New York . It is home to the Binghamton Rumble Ponies of the Double-A Eastern League . Construction began on July 19, 1991 after it was announced that the Williamsport Bills would be relocating from Williamsport , Pennsylvania . The ball park was opened in the following season on April 14, 1992 and has space for 6012 spectators.
The stadium is named after New York State Electric & Gas, the local electricity and gas company.
