Nadezhda Walentinowna Burlakowa , born in Shamakova ( Russian: Надежда Валентиновна Бурлакова, Шамакова ; born February 17, 1959 in Tabashino ) is a former Soviet cross-country skier .

Burlakowa, who started for Trud Leningrad , won second place in the relay at the Lahti Ski Games in March 1979 . She completed her first World Cup race in February 1983 in Sarajevo , which she finished in third place over 5 km and thus achieved her only podium finish in the individual World Cup. This was followed by two top ten placements and 17th place in the overall World Cup at the end of the season. In the 1983/84 season she reached with five placements in the points, including three top ten placements, 14th place in the overall World Cup. She also came third in the relay in Falun . At the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo, she finished 14th over 5 km, ninth place over 10 km and fourth place with the relay. She completed her last World Cup race in December 1986 in Val di Sole , which she finished classically in 14th place over 5 km. She won the Soviet championships in 1981 and 1982 with the relay. In addition, she was second in the Soviet championships in 1984 over 5 km and third in 1979 with the relay and 1983 over 10 km.
