Nadia Requena (born February 2, 1988 ) is a Peruvian javelin thrower .

Athletic career

Nadia Requena gained her first international experience in 2009 at the South American Championships in Lima , where she finished eighth with a width of 38.47 m. At the Juegos Bolivarianos 2013 in Trujillo , she came fourth with 46.88 m. In 2015 she again took part in the South American Championships in Lima, where she finished seventh with 46.56 m. In 2017 she was sixth at the Juegos Bolivarianos in Santa Marta with a throw of 43.15 m and in 2018 she was seventh at the Ibero-American Championships in Trujillo with 46.86 m. Also at the South American Championships in Lima the following year, she had to be content with seventh place with a width of 45.37 m.

From 2013 to 2016, as well as 2018 and 2019, Requena was Peruvian javelin champion.
