Nadine Bellaigue

Nadine Bellaigue (* 1926 in Paris ) is a French actress .

After the Second World War, Bellaigue attended the “Jeune Théâtre du Séminaire des Arts”, where she met her future husband, the writer and screenwriter Jean Raine , whom she married the following year. The marriage lasted until 1951; the two have a son. In 1946 she played "Esther" in Brussels in "Victor ou les Enfants au Pouvoir" ( Victor or The Children in Power ), directed by Michel de Ré ; at the Théâtre Montparnasse she appeared in The Love of Three Oranges in the same year . Between 1949 and 1961, Bellaigue appeared in a handful of films as an actress; In 1951 she played the title role in the experimental 21-minute film created by the artist group CoBrA , a "dramatic poem", Perséphone by Luc de Heusch . Artist friend Pierre Alechinsky created a well-known portrait in 1948 .
