Nadine von Enckevort

Nadine von Enckevort (born February 2, 1891 in Sassenburg , Saatzig district ; † March 17, 1973 in Bad Gandersheim ) was a German painter .

Life

Nadine von Enckevort was born in 1891 as the daughter of Hugo von Enckevort and Editha von Kitzling . She studied painting with Adolf Höfer in the women's academy of the Munich Artists' Association and became his model and fiancée. However, their connection ultimately failed because of the difference in class. On June 22, 1916, she married Hans von Karstedt .

She died in Bad Gandersheim in 1973.
