Nadir adh-Dhahabi ( Arabic نادر الذهبي, DMG Nādir aḏ-Ḏahabī ; * 1946 ) was Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Jordan from November 2007 to December 2009 .

Life

In 1964 adh-Dhahabi graduated from Al-Hussein College in the capital Amman . He got a BSc ( Bachelor of Science ). He was President of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in 1996/97 . In 2001, adh-Dhahabi was appointed transport minister to the Jordanian cabinet, from which he resigned in 2004 to become commissioner at the ASEZA organization in Aqaba . In November 2007, King Abdullah II appointed him Prime Minister to succeed Maruf al-Bachit .

Nadir adh-Dhahabi is an Islamic believer , married and has three children.
