Najib Amhali (born April 4, 1971 in Nador , Morocco ) is a Dutch comedian of Moroccan origin. He is also an actor and also plays drums.

Amhali, who has grown up in Krommenie (Noord-Holland) since the age of two , was originally an actor, but then shifted the focus of his work to cabaret and won several prizes in this field, such as that of the Leiden Cabaret Festival ; he also belonged to the Comedytrain group . Since 1998, the cabaret artist with the nickname De Moroccan uit de Jordaan has presented a new program every two to three years. Amhali also integrates elements from his life story as a guest worker child into his programs. His strength lies in playing characters, as in the famous one-man sketch Shoarma .

In May 2009, a poll showed that Amhali is by far the funniest cabarettier in the country, pushing Herman Finkers into second place. However, with a brand awareness of only fifty percent, it was relatively unknown.

Perhaps his best-known film role was a policeman in the multicultural comedy Shouf Shouf Habibi! from 2004. During the 2006 World Cup, he commented on the events in a television program of his own.
