Nakahara Prize

The Nakahara Prize ( English for Japanese 中原 賞 , Nakahara-shō , German "Nakahara Prize") has been awarded annually since 1995 by the Japanese Economic Association ( Nihon Keizai Gakkai , "Japanese Economic Society", English Japanese Economic Association ) Award for Economics . According to the statutes, the award is given to an economist who is under 45 years of age and has a connection with Japan. The prize was donated by the Japanese businessman Nobuyuki Nakahara .

Other renowned economic prizes awarded to young researchers are the John Bates Clark Medal and the Prix ​​du meilleur jeune économiste de France .
