Takaharu Nakajima

Takaharu Nakajima ( Japanese 中 嶋 敬 春 , Nakajima Takaharu ; born January 2, 1983 in Kawakami , Minamisaku County , Nagano Prefecture ) is a Japanese speed skater .

In February 2000 Takaharu Nakajima was runner-up in the junior all- around championship behind the Swede Johan Röjler . In December of the same year he won the gold medal over 1500 and the silver medal over 5000 meters at the Asian Championships in Harbin . He made his World Cup debut at the start of the 2001/02 season in Berlin . A year later he ran in Nagano for the first time in the top 10 (ninth place over 1000 meters). In February 2004 he won his first world cup race over 1000 meters in Inzell . After this peak, he could not show these achievements again for a long time. Every now and then, however, he always takes the front seats.

At the 2002 Olympic Games in Salt Lake City , the medium-distance specialist, who also competed over 500 and up to 5000 meters, was used over 1500 meters (23rd). In the following games of Turin in 2006 he was used over 1000 (27th) and 1500 (38th) meters.
