Namazu Ike (from Japanese ナ マ ズ 池 'Catfish Lake' ) is a lake on the Prince Harald Coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It is the clearest lake on the Skarvsnes peninsula on the east bank of the Lützow-Holm Bay and is located on a hill southeast of the Suribati Ike .
Japanese scientists named it in 2012 after its shape, which is reminiscent of a catfish .
