Nan Gindele
Nan Gindele (actually Ferdinanda Gindele, married Bauman; born August 5, 1910 in Chicago , † March 26, 1992 in Barrington , Illinois ) was an American javelin thrower .
At the 1932 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, she was fifth.
On June 18, 1932, she set a world record in Chicago with 46.745 m, which lasted ten years.
In 1933 she became the American champion.
