Nana Kitade ( Japanese 北 出 菜 奈 , Kitade Nana ; born May 2, 1987 in Sapporo , Hokkaidō ) is a Japanese J-Rock - J-Pop solo artist.

Life

In 2002 she was discovered at an audition for Sony Music, in October of the following year she made her debut with her single Kesenai Tsumi , which was used as the closing theme in the anime television series Fullmetal Alchemist as the first closing title. From 2002 to 2009 she was under contract with SME Records Inc.

In August 2005 she released her first album 18-eighteen-. Nana's first concert took place almost at the same time as the publication. In November 2005 their fourth single, the track pureness from the album 18-eighteen- (released in the States on the Jpop CD2 compilation ) was released. Six months later, their single Kesenai Tsumi was also released in the US under the title Indelible Sin , this time as part of the compilation Fullmetal Alchemist Complete Best .

In Germany she performed on August 2, 2008 as part of AnimagiC 2008 in Bonn.

In the same year Kitade was one of the few Japanese musicians to release her CD Berry Berry SINGLES on the Spark & ​​Shine label of the Kastellamedia company, as well as her album Bondage on May 22, 2009, only two months after it was released in Japan, in Europe.

On May 26th, 2009 she ended her solo career and founded the band Loveless with guitarist Taizo in June , which was delayed due to health problems in Kitade's debut on October 2nd. At the same time she broke her record deal with Sony.

On December 24, 2010 Nana Kitade / Loveless signed with Spark & ​​Shine and recorded an album in Hamburg.
