Nancy Carroll (* 1974 ) is a British actress .
Life
After graduating from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art in 1998, Carroll played various theater roles, including at the Royal National Theater in London, where she is still on stage with various plays to this day. For her role in After the Dance with Benedict Cumberbatch , she won the 2010 Evening Standard Theater Awards and Laurence Olivier Awards for Best Actress .
Nancy Carroll became known to a larger German audience through various appearances in the British television series Inspector Barnaby and through her role as Lady Felicia Montague in the series Father Brown - Always a Tick Ahead .
