Nancy McLeón
Nancy McLeón ( Nancy McLeón Ferrer; born May 1, 1971 in Banes ) is a former Cuban sprinter .
At the Central American and Caribbean Games in 1990, she won bronze over 400 m .
In 1991 she was eighth over 400 m at the Pan American Games in Havana and won silver in the 4-by-400-meter relay . At the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo , she was eliminated over 400 m in the quarter-finals.
At the Olympic Games in Barcelona in 1992 she was disqualified in the preliminary run with the Cuban 4 x 400 meter relay.
In 1993 she won bronze again over 400 m at the Central America and Caribbean Games. At the Athletics World Cup in London in 1994 , she came in third place with the American 4 x 400 meter relay.
In 1995 she won silver in the 400m and gold in the 4-by-400-meter relay at the Pan American Games in Mar del Plata . At the Athletics Central America and Caribbean Championships she won the 200 m , and at the World Championships in Gothenburg she reached the semifinals over 400 m and was seventh in the Cuban 4-by-400-meter relay.
