Nancy Wilson (guitarist)
Nancy Lamoureux Wilson (born March 16, 1954 in San Francisco ) is an American songwriter , guitarist , singer and, like her sister Ann Wilson, a member of the band Heart .
Career
Wilson played rhythm guitar at Heart and sang in the background. She only takes on the lead vocals on a few recordings by the band, including the number one hit on the Billboard Hot 100 , These Dreams .
From 1986 to 2010, Wilson was married to actor Cameron Crowe , with whom she has two children. Since then she has composed the music for many of his feature films . In 1999 she released her only solo album, Live at McCabe's Guitar Shop . Since April 2012 she has been married to the music producer Geoff Bywater for the second time.
