Nanten Iwa (from Japanese 南 天 岩 ' South Heaven Rocks ' ) is a small, reddish ledge in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It rises 8 km northeast of Kurakake Yama in the Nunatakker group Minami-Yamato Nunatak-Gun .

Japanese scientists made measurements in 1973 and naming in 1981.
