Naoto Kamifukumoto ( Japanese 上 福 元 直 人 Kamifukumoto Naoto ; born November 17, 1989 in Chiba ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Kamifukumoto learned to play football on the school team at Funabashi High School and the university team at Juntendo University . He signed his first contract with Ōita Trinita in 2012 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . At the end of the 2012 season, the club rose to the J1 League . In May 2013 he was loaned to third division club FC Machida Zelvia . He returned to Oita Trinita in June 2013. At the end of the 2013 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League. At the end of the 2015 season, the club was relegated to the J3 League . In 2016 he became champion of the J3 League with the club and rose again to the J2 League. For the club he completed 65 league games. In 2018 he moved to league rivals Tokyo Verdy . For the club he completed 84 league games. In 2020 he moved to league competitor Tokushima Vortis .
