Ishigami learned to play football on the university team at Kanagawa University . He signed his first contract with Kashima Antlers in 2007 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . With the club he became Japanese champions in 2007 and 2008 . For the club, he completed 14 first division games. In 2009 he moved to the second division club Cerezo Osaka . In 2009 he was runner-up in the J2 League with the club and was promoted to the J1 League. For the club he completed 46 league games.
