Sara Gallego (born October 21, 2000 ) is a Spanish hurdler who specializes in the 400 meter distance .
Athletic career
Sara Gallego achieved her first international successes at the 2016 European Youth Championships in Tbilisi , where she won the bronze medal in 58.73 seconds. In 2018 she finished fourth at the U20 World Championships in Tampere in 57.11 s and qualified for the European Championships in Berlin , where she was eliminated in the semifinals with 57.25 s. In 2019 she won the bronze medal in 57.44 s at the U20 European Championships in Borås , Sweden.
In 2017 and 2018 she became the Spanish champion in the 400 meter hurdles.
