Narsinghpur , also Narsimhapur , is a city in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh . The city is located in the center of the state. The city is named after the mythological figure Narasimha , in whose honor a temple was built in the city.
The city is the administrative center of the Narsinghpur district of the same name . Narsinghpur has the status of a Municipal Council. The city is divided into 30 wards (constituencies).
Demographics
