Narcissus Renner (* 1502 in Augsburg ; † 1536 there ) was an Augsburg illuminator and probably a draftsman for woodcuts.

Renner was probably the son of the Augsburg book painter Hans Renner . The only works known by him date from 1517 and 1525. After this time he hardly received any orders, as he paid the lowest tax rate in the tax books from 1529 to 1535. His main client was the accountant Matthäus Schwarz . Among other things, he contributed images to his “Trachtenbuch” and created the “Gender Dance” for Schwarz in 1522, which represented Augsburg patrician couples from the period from 1200 to the present day.

Renner depicted himself on two portrait medals and three self-portraits, one of which shows him together with his wife Magdalena.
