Nasen ( Italian Nessano ) is a village in the Pustertal in South Tyrol ( Italy ).

Nasen, with 150 inhabitants and around 1000 meters above sea level on the sunny slopes of the Puster Valley, is located on the Nasner Bach, the border between Percha and Rasen , so the larger western part belongs to the municipality of Percha, the eastern part to the municipality of Rasen-Antholz . In addition, this brook also forms the language border between the Upper and Lower Pusteria dialects, which also runs through the middle of the village.

The landmark of the village is the church, built in 1474 in late Gothic style and consecrated to St. Jacob , which towers over the village towards the forest. It has wall paintings on the outside (Saint Christopher ) and inside ( Christ on the Mount of Olives, etc.), which are attributed to the late Gothic painter Simon von Taisten .
