Nasireddin is an impact crater to the south of the front of the moon , southeast of Mare Nubium and west of Stöfler crater . The northern rim of the crater is partially covered by Miller , Nasireddin in turn overlays the eastern part of Huggins . The crater is moderately eroded, the interior shows concentric structures.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the Persian theologian, mathematician, astronomer and philosopher Nasir ad-Din at-Tusi .
