Miller is an impact crater south of the lunar front , southeast of Mare Nubium , northwest of Stöfler crater and north of Nasireddin , the rim of which it touches. The crater is moderately eroded, the interior has terraces and a central mountain .

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the British astrochemist William Allen Miller .
