Wet moghadam
Nasser Moghadam (* 1921 in Tehran ; † April 11, 1979 ) was an Iranian lieutenant general and the last head of the SAVAK secret service .
Life
In June 1978, Moghadam surprisingly replaced Nematollah Nassiri as head of the secret service. Moghadam was previously head of military counter-espionage, was seen as an opponent of torture and was supposed to ensure that the army was better connected to the secret service.
After the Iranian Revolution , Moghadam, like his predecessors Nassiri and Hassan Pakravan , was tried and executed .
