Nassim Banouas (born September 8, 1986 in Worms ) is a former German soccer player . Banouas is the son of an Algerian father and a German mother.

Career

The central defender Banouas played for SV Horchheim until 1998 and then moved to 1. FC Kaiserslautern . In 2003 he moved to the A-youth team of 1. FSV Mainz 05 , for whom he played 51 games in the U19 Bundesliga. From 2005 he was part of the Mainz Bundesliga squad, but was not used in any competitive game of the professional team. For the Mainz team, he played 30 league games in the upper and regional leagues .

Shortly after the start of the 2006/07 season, Banouas was removed from the Mainz professional squad for disciplinary reasons and loaned to the regional division Sportfreunde Siegen until the end of the season.

At the beginning of the 2007/08 season he moved to the first division team of 1. FC Kaiserslautern . In the second division professionals, he came to two missions.

In the 2008/09 season Banouas played for the third division Kickers Offenbach . In December 2009, the defender signed a contract with SV Waldhof Mannheim , which ran until June 30, 2010. In the 2010/11 season he was under contract with FC 08 Homburg . This was followed by a year-long guest appearance at SV 07 Elversberg before Banouas moved to Wormatia Worms in the summer of 2012 . In 2013 he returned to SV Waldhof, a year later he joined the league competitor SVN Zweibrücken . When he got into financial difficulties during the 2014/15 season , Banouas moved to the Hessian league club SV Wiesbaden in January 2015 . Here he completed a league game until the end of the season and ended his career.

After retiring, Banouas works as a scout at FSB-Spielerberatung GmbH .
