Nat Sanders

Nat Sanders is an American film editor .

Life

Sanders studied at Florida State University in the local film department (College of Motion Picture Arts) and graduated in 2002. He has worked as an editor for film and television since 2004 and has so far been involved in more than a dozen productions. His work on Short Term 12 (2013) earned him a Satellite Award in 2014 . For their work together on Moonlight , he and Joi McMillon were nominated for an Oscar in the category Best Editing in 2017 . There were further nominations for other film awards, both of which have received multiple awards. In late June 2017, Sanders became a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences .
