Natalia Kubin (born September 24, 1993 ) is a German judoka .

Life

Natalia Kubin attended Heinrich-Heine-Gymnasium in Kaiserslautern from 2009 . Judo shaped her life from early childhood and she found pleasure in trying things out and measuring strength. She eventually chose judo as a competitive sport. She enjoys playing the violin and listening to music.

successes

In 2009 Kubin became German champion in the U17 class up to 70 kilograms and took third place at the International German Individual Championship in Berlin. The highlight was her bronze medal at the first U17 World Cup in Budapest. The title of German Champion followed in March 2009. She also achieved medal ranks at international tournaments in Tver ( Russia ), Teplice ( Czech Republic ), at the Thuringia Cup and at the International German Championships (IDEM) in Berlin.

In June 2009 Kubin was on the rankings of the European Judo Union in second place behind the European champion Valeria Ferrari . In 2010 she went to the 1st Youth Olympic Games in Singapore as one of two German judoka and won the silver medal in the class up to 78 kg.

In the adult category, Kubin reached third place at the European Cup tournaments in Helsingborg 2014, as well as in Uster and Sindelfingen in 2015. After 2015, she no longer took part in international tournaments.
