The National League A 2015/16 ( French League Nationale A ) was the 82nd season of the top division in men's basketball . 10 teams took part in the championship.

The Swiss champion was Friborg Olympic , which with its 16th championship title and the first since 2008 became the new sole record champion. He was able to prevail in the playoff final against Union Neuchâtel Basket in six games.

mode

In the preliminary round, the ten teams each met three times. First a return match was played in 18 games. Then one more game was played, with home rights being determined by table placement. Then the eight best placed came into the playoffs, the season was over for the last two placed, but there is no permanent relegation in the league. The playoffs were played in a best-of-five series in the quarter-finals and semi-finals , the final was decided in a best-of-seven .
