Swiss Basketball is the national basketball federation in Switzerland , based in Granges-Paccot in the canton of Friborg . The association was founded in 1929. The association is responsible for basketball in Switzerland and organizes the national league A up to the first division for men and the national league A and B for women. There is also the Swiss Cup and the SBL Cup, a league cup.

structure

The supreme body of the association is the assembly of delegates. The number of delegates is measured by the number of licensed players in the regional associations. The assembly of delegates elects the central president of the association and the board elects. The office, the various commissions, the league and the various regional associations are subordinate to the board.

Other organs are the club, the chamber of elite clubs, which organizes professional league operations, the business audit commission, the auditors and the association's own administration of justice.
