The Swiss Equestrian Federation , SVPS (French: Fédération Suisse des Sports Equestres, FSSE, Italian: Federazione Svizzera Sport Equestri, FSSE) is the national umbrella organization for all people who practice equestrian sports, who are involved in horse breeding, keeping or training in Switzerland . The international name is Fédération Équestre Nationale with the abbreviation FN. He deals with jumping, dressage, eventing, distance, reining, vaulting and driving.

The SVPS is the Swiss counterpart to the German equestrian association , FN. He is a member of the umbrella organization Fédération Équestre Internationale (FEI) and is responsible for equestrian sports within Swiss Olympic .

After the first Concours Hippique in Switzerland was held in Yverdon in 1900, the "Association of Swiss Racing Societies" was founded that year. In 1933 it was renamed the Swiss Equestrian Federation.

In 2016, around 550 tests were carried out in accordance with the SVPS regulations.
