Swiss Underwater Sports Association

The Swiss Underwater Sports Association (SUSV or FSSS for French Fédération Suisse de Sports Subaquatiques , Italian Federazione Svizzera di Sport Subacquei , Romansh Federaziun Svizra da Sport Subaquatic ) based in Ittigen (Switzerland) is the umbrella organization for all divers in the Switzerland and member of Swiss Olympic . The SUSV is a member of the Confédération Mondiale des Activités Subaquatiques (CMAS) and represents it in Switzerland.

The association was founded in 1957. You can join it as an individual or as a club member. The SUSV has seven sections in the German-speaking Switzerland and four sections in the Romandie .

Commissions

There are several commissions in the SUSV, these are:

  • Diving Commission (TK)
  • Communication Commission (KK)
  • Sports Commission (SK)
  • Photo-Video-Commission (FV)
  • Business Audit Committee (GPK)

The sports committee is responsible for the areas of apnea , fin swimming , underwater rugby and underwater hockey . The diving committee takes care of the topics of diving site subsidies, diving restrictions, underwater archeology, biology and travel.

Among other things, the SUSV is committed to promoting diving sites. He initiates corresponding projects and actively accompanies their development.

The association magazine NEREUS has been published 6 times a year since 2010.
