International Association of Rebreather Trainers

International Association of rebreather trainer (IART) is a training organization which relates to the training of rebreather divers and technical divers specializes. It is based in Dießen am Ammersee .

founding

In 1997 IART was constituted by Huber Stieve in Alt Duvenstedt . Peter Grosserhode and Huber Stieve had recognized that rebreather diving was associated with safety risks that were not dealt with in more detail in recreational diver training . Another point was that it was the end of the 1990s was no association, which in Germany , forming the " AP Valves - Buddy Inspiration Classic enabled (APV BI)". The first "order" from IART was the creation of course documents for the APV-BI in close cooperation with the manufacturer. In 2000 IART was taken over by Chris Ullmann .
