Education system

The training system at TDI includes the levels Basic Nitrox Diver, Advanced Nitrox Diver, Decompression Procedures, Trimix Diver and Advanced Trimix Diver

The TDI Nitrox course is an entry-level course for divers who want to use Nitrox as breathing gas . The course teaches the advantages, dangers and the correct techniques for diving with Nitrox mixes between 22% and 40% oxygen content . The TDI Advanced Nitrox course qualifies divers to use nitrox mixtures from EAN21 to pure oxygen. The maximum depth on this course is 40 meters, it is a no-stop dive.

The TDI Decompression Procedures course prepares the course participant for planned gradual decompression . With a maximum depth of 45 meters, this course is considered the first step beyond the limits of normal recreational diving . The Advanced Nitrox Diver and Decompression Procedures courses are usually offered as a combination course and form the basis for further courses in technical diving.

The TDI Trimix course provides the knowledge that is required to dive safely with Trimix with no less than 18% oxygen to a maximum depth of 60 meters. The TDI Advanced Trimix Diver course trains the student to perform dives up to 100 meters. Hypoxic trimix mixtures (below 17% oxygen content) are used.
