Jewish cemetery (Lütz)
The Jewish cemetery in Lütz , a local community in the Cochem-Zell district in Rhineland-Palatinate , was laid out around 1800. The Jewish cemetery is located within the village on the street In der Krumm . It is a protected cultural monument .
The cemetery consists of an old and a newer part, laid out in 1872. There are no more gravestones from the grave sites that were created in the older part before 1862 . The cemetery area was originally 1600 m², today only about 700 m² belong to the cemetery. The dead of the Treis Jewish community were also buried in the cemetery.
There are still 32 tombstones in the cemetery today.
