The Swiss Swimming Federation (SSCHV) (also: Swiss Aquatics , Fédération Suisse de Natation (FSN), Federazione Svizzera di Nuoto (FSN), Federaziun Svizra da Nataziun (FSN), Swiss Swimming Federation (SSF / SUI)) is the umbrella organization for all Swiss Swimming clubs. He organizes and coordinates the national competitions and nominates the swimmers for the national team. It was officially founded in 1918 when it joined the Swiss Olympic Committee (SOC). The headquarters of the sports association is in the House of Sports in Ittigen near Bern . The SSCHV is a member of the Swiss Olympic Association , the European Swimming Federation LEN and the World Swimming Federation FINA .
