The Swiss Sports Bowling Association ( French Association Sportive Suisse des Quilleurs ) is the Swiss association for skittles and bowling in Switzerland . The SSKV is a member of the Fédération Internationale des Quilleurs (FIQ) and the Swiss Olympic Association .
tasks
The SSKV is responsible for the promotion and supervision of all branches of bowling within the SSKV, the safeguarding of the rights and interests of bowlers and the promotion of extensive benefits in bowling, the promotion of sporting ethos, the promotion of international sporting relationships, appropriate advertising and the fight against all excesses (Doping, gambling, etc.) responsible.
The association presents the Swiss bowling sport as a whole to the public and coordinates between it and the sub-associations on the one hand, and between the sub-associations and clubs on the other. The SSKV promotes and supports:
- The efforts to achieve short-term and long-term goals in the sub-associations affiliated with it
- to keep competitive sport within reasonable limits;
- The sub-associations in solving their structural problems.
The SSKV provides appropriate courses. These courses are subject to special guidelines set by the Sports Commission. The SSKV is available to the sub-associations as part of their courses for the purpose of promoting bowling and the training of training leaders.
Championships
The following championships are held to maintain and promote bowling, camaraderie and friendly relationships among the members of the sub-associations:
- Swiss Individual Championships;
- Swiss Club Championships;
- Canton competition;
- Swiss individual cup winner final.
The SSKV can also organize other association competitions.
structure
The SSKV consists of 24 cantonal associations (sub-associations) including the International Asphalt Track, the Liechtenstein National Association, the Swiss Bowling Association, the Swiss Seniors' Sports Bowling Association and groups of Swiss organizations abroad.
