National Park: Where people and wilderness meet (own spelling NATIONAL PARK) is a richly illustrated, popular scientific and yet critical magazine with a nature conservation focus. It is since 1974 by the Friends of the First German Bavarian Forest National Park e. V. published.

content

In addition to the special topics of national parks and protected areas , the magazine is also devoted to further topics such as wilderness , species protection , landscape consumption and ecology . Recurring rubrics are “People in nature conservation”, “Always worth a trip” (travel destinations in protected areas) and “Current nature conservation”.

When selecting the authors, care is taken to ensure that they "write their technical knowledge, their practical experience and their assessments in an understandable manner for nature lovers and practical conservationists on site and not prepare [...] second-hand findings."
