Bjeshkët e Nemuna National Park
The Bjeshkët e Nemuna National Park is a national park in western Kosovo that protects the mountainous landscape of the Bjeshkët e Nemuna të Kosovës (Enchanted Mountains of Kosovo) part of the Albanian Alps .
The national park, established in 2013, covers an area of 62,488 hectares .
Small rivers and streams flow through the national park , including the Pećka Bistrica in the Rugova Gorge . In addition, the highest point of Kosovo, the Gjeravica ( 2656 m. I. J. ), and some small lakes such as the Liqen i Kuqishtës and the Liqen i Zemrës are in the reserve. Largest cities and important trading centers for the area are Peja , Deçan and Junik .
