The Doña Juana-Cascabel National Park ( Spanish Parque Nacional Natural Complejo Volcánico Doña Juana-Cascabel ) is a protected area in Colombia . The park is named after three volcanoes, namely Doña Juana , Petacas and Animas . The protected area was designated in 2007 and is 658.58 km² in size. The area serves as a habitat for the Andean bear and mountain tapir , among others . At the time of its establishment, 471 species of birds were counted, which represented around 27% of the species occurring in Colombia. Doña Juana-Cascabel National Park was the 52nd national park in the country. It is named after the Doña Juana volcano.
