The Médanos del Chaco National Park is located in northern Paraguay on the Bolivian border in the Boquerón and Alto Paraguay departments . It is the second largest national park in the country. It was founded on August 12, 2003 and expanded to an area of 7063 km² on December 1, 2016.
climate
The average annual precipitation is 400/500 mm and the temperatures can rise to 50 ° C in summer.
flora
