Natural Research Society of Freiburg im Breisgau

The Naturforschende Gesellschaft zu Freiburg im Breisgau is an association in the city of Freiburg im Breisgau . It was founded in 1821. It is not to be confused with the Baden Regional Association for Natural History and Nature Conservation

The purpose is to promote the natural sciences , especially natural research in Baden and the neighboring countries (Regio TriRhena). Public, scientific lectures and excursions are offered. The association is closely connected with the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg .

Publications

The reports of the Freiburg Natural Research Society have been published since 1821 . They come primarily from scientists.
