The Grantau natural toboggan run is a 955 meter long toboggan run in Umhausen in the Ötztal .
history
The natural toboggan run was built in 1999 as a federal performance center for tobogganing on natural tracks with funds from the federal government, the state of Tyrol and the municipality of Umhausen . Since 2001, world cup races in natural toboggan run have been held annually on the 955 m long track . In 2006 the European championship was held here and in 2011 the world championship took place on the Grantau toboggan run.
