Klippkes nature reserve

The Klippkes nature reserve is a 39  hectare nature reserve east of Nachrodt in the municipality of Nachrodt-Wiblingwerde in the Märkisches Kreis in North Rhine-Westphalia . In 1999, the district government of Arnsberg designated the area as an NSG by ordinance. The NSG has been part of the FFH area Schluchtwälder in the Lennetal (No. DE-4712-301) with a size of 202 hectares since 2004 .

The NSG is located in the south directly on the Lenne (Ruhr) . In the west it is directly connected to the buildings.

Area description

The NSG is a species-rich and tiered mixed deciduous forest of the rocky and cliff-rich steep slopes that descend towards the Lenne.
